hello all,
i've been a solitary worshipper for years and have only just wandered upon non-Hermetic organized kemetic religion.
what sorts are there?
I'm in touch with the Kemetic Orthodoxy out of Illinois...just curious what the other options are.
Thanks much.

Re: new to Kemet...suggetions?
Tue, August 9, 2005 - 12:32 PMThere several different groups other than the House of Netjer (AKA Kemetic Orthodox). A simple internet search will locate them easily enough. They always want more members.
Here a few that I know of, but I am not a member of any:
www.neberdjer.org/home.htm
www.thelivingnuhati.org/
Personally, I prefer solitary practice because all of the groups I have found have this intense hierarchy, and all I am interested in is honoring Netjer, not worhsiping the ka of the head of the group and worrying about titles.
You've probably found something by now, but if you still lurk, I hope this helps!

Although they are dedicated to Hwt-Hrw (Hat-Hor), they do offer instruction in religious rite and the like.
